Pentecost Potpourri! The Church hall on Church Lane is in need of major repairs, including a new roof. As the hall is the base for many local clubs and groups (Scouts, Toddler group, Line dancers, Art Groups etc) it’s crucial that the whole community comes together to raise funds to help keep the hall roof on! The Potpourri highlighted the work of the North Nottinghamshire Flower Arranging Classes, Richard Rogers Art Group Classes and the Retford and District Photographic Society, all of which are based in the Church hall. The event was a great success with £424.55 being raised towards the hall repairs. The next fundraising event will be the Ordsall Parish Scarecrow Festival, taking place on the weekend of Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of September.
