We welcome enquiries about getting married in Ordsall Parish Church.

Can you get married in All Hallows? - The Rules

If you are resident in the parish of Ordsall (and this includes Retford south of the London Road / Albert Road traffic lights - i.e. towards London) you have a legal right to be married in the parish church, so long as:

1) You are over 18

People who wish to marry between the ages of 16 and 18 need the permission of parents or legal guardians.

2)You have not been married before

If you (or one of you) have been married before it may be possible to marry in Ordsall church, but it is not automatic.

3) You are not closely related.

There are restrictions on who may marry if you are related or were brought up together.

If any of these issues is the case for you, or for one of you, or you're not sure if they apply to you, please contact Carole Robinson to talk it through first.

If you are not resident in the parish but have strong links with the church it may be possible to marry at Ordsall.  Again, please contact us for more details.
