Healing Services

On the fifth Sunday of the month we have a healing service at 6.30pm at All Hallows Church.

In 2009 healing services will be on March 29th; May31st; August 30th; 29th November.

These are quiet, reflective services in which we light a candle for healing for ourselves or others. Prayers are said for each person accompanied by the laying on of hands and anointing with oil of healing.

To reassure those who worry about these things - nothing spectacular happens, we do not look for miracle cures. We seek a peace through being better reconciled with ourselves and with God, we seek a strength through reliance on God, and through prayer we support one another and other people as they go through illness and treatment.
