Fabric Fund

The Premier Account to be renamed the ‘Parish Fabric Fund’

 Within it, earmarked money (and interest accruing to it), be separately accounted, i.e.:

·      Segar & Shelbourne - for the upkeep of All Hallows church

·      Bells - for the maintenance of the tower bells and related fabric

·      Organ - for both organs

·      Mrs Williams - unrestricted fabric

·      Dorothy Nicholson - All Hallows organ.

·      Housley - for the fabric of All Hallows church

·      Philip Pantry - for the benefit of All Hallows [i.e. not exclusively fabric]

1.      Signatories for cheques: any two of the wardens and treasurers may be able to sign cheques

2.      In principle spending from the Parish Fabric Fund should be attributed to the most narrowly defined funds first.

Returns from rented properties: (PCC 8/11/2000)

1.      A reserve fund of £7,000 be built up against future spending on the cottages.  Income over that level be put into the general fund.

2.      Rent from the house in Grange Road goes into the Fabric fund, for the benefit of All Hallows in accordance with the terms of Phillip Pantry’s will.

 

Payments to individuals

1.      Those who act as verger in the absence of the regular verger are entitled to a fee.

2.      Visiting organists are to be offered £20 fee and travel expenses of 40p per mile.
