How you can help
The new Diocese of Ho, Ghana
[Ghana pages
index]
This call is to help part of God’s Kingdom that is growing. The Church in Ho is reaching out to
make the Gospel known in one of the poorest parts of Ghana. It is the Anglican
Church’s newest Diocese, and this infant needs our support.
Current needs of the Diocese of Ho:
-
The support of priests: £50 / month
-
A roof for St Paul’s Church, Agbozume (about £6,000, of which £4,000
is expected to be raised in the UK)
-
A Mission House for a priest in the compound of the St Patrick’s Church,
Kpando (£2,000-£3,500)
-
A Boy’s Brigade and Girl’s Brigade at the Church of St Michael and All
Angel’s, Worawora (£1,500 for uniforms, flags and band instruments).
-
A Diocesan office, and a secretary to staff
it.
-
An office for the Education Director of the Diocese—there are
about 22 church schools.
-
A car for Bishop
Matthias to get around the Diocese.
|
Children
of the crèche
at St Michael's, Worawora - their teacher is the wife of the
parish priest.

We hope links may be developed into communities, i.e. schools
linking with schools, so that together we can help make a real difference.
